October 3 to November 30 – Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit (Henderson Fine Art Center) SEE THE 2016 EXHIBIT and all AWARD WINNERS Henderson, Kentucky, home of John James Audubon hosts the twelfth biennial Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit. John James Audubon lived and painted in Henderson from 1810 to 1819, it is here that he set the course toward painting every bird in North America. The purpose of the exhibit is to increase awareness for the preservation of wildlife and to recognize artists who derive inspiration and imagery from the wildlife and environment.
