The Ohio Valley Art League Board of Directors proudly announces the appointment of Ms. Jordyn Myracle as the new Executive Director for this non-profit organization.
Ms. Myracle, from Evansville, Indiana, is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community with a degree in Graphic Design. She received many awards in this field of study and among them was a 2015 Student Gold Addy Award for Publication/Book Design along with being named the 2016 Outstanding Graduate in Applied Science -Visual Communications.
“I am truly honored to be a part of this organization and I look forward to successfully taking on the role and responsibilities of this position. It will be my goal to create fresh, new and innovative ideas for the arts community in the Tri-state,” says Ms. Myracle.
“We are thrilled to have Ms. Myracle in this leadership position as the new Executive Director. Her background experience and skill set in design, advertising/marketing and photography as well as her creative ability and career goals combine for a great fit with the organization. We invite everyone to meet Ms. Myracle on June 22nd from 5 – 7 pm at the OVAL Gallery located at 230 Second Street in the Citi Center during the Opening Reception of a new exhibit titled Interpreting the Figure”, says Marcia Baker, OVAL President.
“Henderson and this organization have been blessed in countless ways to have Jule McClellan as OVAL’s Curator and Executive Directive for twenty five years. She has resigned to move to Lexington, Kentucky to be near her family. We can’t thank her enough for all that she has done and certainly wish her much happiness,” says Mrs. Baker.
The Ohio Valley Art League (OVAL) is a non-profit organization that was formed twenty five and a half years ago to promote the visual arts through exhibits, workshops and other worthy projects.
