OVAL curates and presents a full schedule of dynamic exhibitions year-round at multiple local art galleries. Exhibitions displayed are a combination of open call shows and invitational shows. Our goal is to provide ample opportunities for artists to display and sell their artwork locally. OVAL promotes and displays local and regional artists’ artwork at Gallery 101 at The Depot, OVAL Gallery @ Citi-Center, Dick and Sheila Beaven Art Gallery at Henderson County Public Library, and the Preston Arts Center Gallery on the campus of Henderson Community College. Our programming includes, but is not limited to, artist led workshops and classes, demonstrations, art festivals/sales, and art programming in the schools, as well as collaborative public art initiatives with other local organizations and individuals.
