As one of the founding members of OVAL, Jule has worked tirelessly since its’ inception to make it one of the most recognized supporting visual arts organizations in Henderson and the surrounding area. The respect that OVAL has is in no small part a result of her professional and passionate leadership. The fervor and passion for the arts that she has exhibited on a daily basis shows that this was so much more than just a job for her. It was a labor of love.
Our community is a better place because of the program, exhibits and support of OVAL. Jule has had the vision for much of what has been accomplished over the years. The sculpture on the grounds of Henderson Community College and the Women’s Honor Court will stand as lasting examples of her vision and passion for the arts.
As Jule prepares to move to Lexington, Kentucky to be near her family we wish her well and assure her that she will be missed. We hope for much happiness in the days ahead as she begins the next chapter in her life.
